Much like Magic the Gathering Online, Heroclix Online will be a alternative to playing it table top. You will still have to buy your pieces. The rules are still the same, and the game still plays the same. So why should you care, well it's great for people that don't have alot of time or are busy when you venue gathers. At this time, I don't know how packs will be or if you will be able to buy or sell singles. The open beta is happening right now, that means if you what to try it, then you can. It sounds like it will be very good but only time will tell.

Project Cafe Will be at E3

So what is Project Cafe, it is the codename for Nintendo's next system. We don't know a lot right now but it will be at E3, so in about a month we should know a lot more. It's will not use the Wii controller, but will have a six inches in size, and will allows players to stream entire games to the device from the console, saying it's like a miniature television. When I know more you will know more so stay tuned for more info.

Gears of War 3 Beta Walkthrough Video (Full Video)

This is the legendary much anticipated Gears 3 beta! Its amazing, almost everything works great and in fact its better than most retail games. Cliffy B promised us a silky smooth online experience way back before Gears 2 was released, and his promise is finally fulfilled! Theres still some time to check out the beta for yourself, preorder the game and gamestop and get yourself a code!

This is this years Free Comic Book Day figure from Heroclix, and boy is it awesome! For those of you who don't know, this is Hal Jordan. The first human member of the Green Lantern Corps. Now lets talk a bit about his dial. He starts out very strong for being under 150 points. My only real nitpick is that he doesn't have the Ranger Combat Expert, instead he gets perplex (which is also awesome). When he gets to his fourth click, he becomes great at close combat! your opponent becomes unable to break away easily and he gains the blades/claws ability. For all you noobs out there, the first Hal Jordan figure had a very similar starting dial and quickly became one of the most played tournament figures of the time. Other than that minor gripe hes an all round great figure that will probably see lots of play.

A couple of new promo figs coming out at GenCon

Two new heroclix promos have been announced for GenCon this year, and I think fans will be pretty happy with what we are getting.

First, is Moonstone, a member of the Dark Avengers. Coming in at 135 points and with 7 clicks players will probably have to build their team around her if playing at the usual 300 points. That shouldn't be a problem though with her great abilities and stats.

The second figure is Wonder Woman. I know I know, we have a bazillion Wonder Women right? True, but this fig is sporting the amazonians new costume. She comes in at 190 points, as expected from a Wonder Woman. She sports the usual powers you expect from her, except for the lack of impervious on her dial at all.
