Is this The Legend of Zelda master timeline? If you don't know, Nintendo is going to put out a book called Hyrule Historia Book, and a website called Kotaku may have just translated the real master timeline for The Legend of Zelda. Many fans are unhappy with this timeline, one reason is that at Ocarina of Time, there is a three way split not the two way split most thought was canon. All I have to say is this is Nintendo's game and what ever timeline they came up with is fine with me.

The Wii U is Coming 2012

So at E3 2011, we got a first look at Project Cafe. First the name of Nintendo next system is called Wii U, which to me is the dumbest name it could have, but it's just a name.
Second the controller, which is hard to talk about. It has the stander buttons that are on most gaming controller, but also has Built-in accelerometer, gyroscope, speakers, front-facing camera, microphone and a 6.2 inch touchscreen. It looks a lot like a tablet PC.
Third the games, all they showed that was first party was tech demos, no real games but we did get to see how Link would look in HD, they did say they are working on a next gen Super Smash Bros. game. But they did show a couple of third party games, Tekken, Batman Arkham City, Assassin's Creed, Dirt: Codemasters, Aliens: Colonial Marines, Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Online, Metro Last Light, and Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor's Edge.
Four the console. The that was there is not the finished one, but the one that was at E3 has four usb ports, is small but not a lot of info about, what's under the hood of it. As Nintendo is getting rid of friend codes and is going to use something more like the PS3, or X-Box 360 friend lists.

Insomniac's Next Game: Overstrike

Insomniac has brought us some great game franchise's, from kid friendly and fun games like Spyro the Dragon, and Ratchet & Clank, and a game that are all at war, Resistance: Fall of Man. Now they bring us Overstrike. A James Bond like game. Where you plays as one of he Overstrike 9 team, that is team of spies and go up against a shadowy organization. The characters on Overstrike 9 include an "ex-mercenary, a lifelong thief, a gifted young scientist and a decorated detective." Also there will be a four-player co-op action game, and imaginative weaponry. This will be Insomniac's first multiplatform, coming out on both the PS3 and the X-Box 360.

Halo is Coming Both This Year and Next

E3 started today and Microsoft Press Conference was first. Now Microsoft did show of many games but only to made me yell HELL YES, and they were Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary, which is a remake of the first game, but better looking and X-Box Live, it is coming this year, on 11/15/12. The next one all we got was a teaser trailer, but that was enough for now because it was Halo 4.

Heroclix Online is Here

Much like Magic the Gathering Online, Heroclix Online will be a alternative to playing it table top. You will still have to buy your pieces. The rules are still the same, and the game still plays the same. So why should you care, well it's great for people that don't have alot of time or are busy when you venue gathers. At this time, I don't know how packs will be or if you will be able to buy or sell singles. The open beta is happening right now, that means if you what to try it, then you can. It sounds like it will be very good but only time will tell.

Project Cafe Will be at E3

So what is Project Cafe, it is the codename for Nintendo's next system. We don't know a lot right now but it will be at E3, so in about a month we should know a lot more. It's will not use the Wii controller, but will have a six inches in size, and will allows players to stream entire games to the device from the console, saying it's like a miniature television. When I know more you will know more so stay tuned for more info.

This is the legendary much anticipated Gears 3 beta! Its amazing, almost everything works great and in fact its better than most retail games. Cliffy B promised us a silky smooth online experience way back before Gears 2 was released, and his promise is finally fulfilled! Theres still some time to check out the beta for yourself, preorder the game and gamestop and get yourself a code!

This is this years Free Comic Book Day figure from Heroclix, and boy is it awesome! For those of you who don't know, this is Hal Jordan. The first human member of the Green Lantern Corps. Now lets talk a bit about his dial. He starts out very strong for being under 150 points. My only real nitpick is that he doesn't have the Ranger Combat Expert, instead he gets perplex (which is also awesome). When he gets to his fourth click, he becomes great at close combat! your opponent becomes unable to break away easily and he gains the blades/claws ability. For all you noobs out there, the first Hal Jordan figure had a very similar starting dial and quickly became one of the most played tournament figures of the time. Other than that minor gripe hes an all round great figure that will probably see lots of play.

A couple of new promo figs coming out at GenCon

Two new heroclix promos have been announced for GenCon this year, and I think fans will be pretty happy with what we are getting.

First, is Moonstone, a member of the Dark Avengers. Coming in at 135 points and with 7 clicks players will probably have to build their team around her if playing at the usual 300 points. That shouldn't be a problem though with her great abilities and stats.

The second figure is Wonder Woman. I know I know, we have a bazillion Wonder Women right? True, but this fig is sporting the amazonians new costume. She comes in at 190 points, as expected from a Wonder Woman. She sports the usual powers you expect from her, except for the lack of impervious on her dial at all.

Based on the video game Street Fighter that come out in the year 1986, NECA is releasing a set later this year. The set will have most fan favorites like Guile, Ryu, and Blanka with 27 figures. There are to ways to get them the first is individually boxed figure priced at just $2.99, the second is starter 6-Pack includes character cards, 4 exclusive maps, 2 custom dice, and a 2011 HeroClix rulebook.

Today Activision and Marvel Entertainment announced Spider-Man™: Edge of Time. Spider-Man faces one of his greatest challenges ever – saving the Peter Parker AKA Spider-Man. Developed by Activision-owned studio Beenox, players will have to take on the roles of both classic Amazing Spider-Man and Spider-Man 2099 to correct a timestream gone awry and prevent a catastrophic future brought on by the early and untimely death of Peter Parker.

To Finish off I, like most of the Spider-Man games, but this seems to be another Spider-Man game without an open world environment, and that what got me this like the Spider-Man games. If this game doesn’t not have a open world environment, I will still play and I hope all Spider-Man fans that are gamers will play it to.

Alice: Madness Returns - Developer Interview

This is definitely not the Alice in Wonderland you saw as a child. American Mcgees Alice came out almost a decade ago, and it was praised for its odd yet endearing style and its unique story. Fans have been clamoring for a sequel for years, and its finally happening. This is a direct sequel to the first Alice game, and promises all the fun and macabre that the first game had.

WH40k Space Marine is going to be a Third Person Shooter based on the super popular franchise of the same name. Brink is more than just another pretty shooter, its a pretty shooter with a pedigree. The developer of RTCW: Enemy Territory, Splash Damage, is holding the reigns of this team based shooter. Multiple class team oriented combat isn't the only draw here though, the game promises deep character customization and ability progression.

Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City - FIRST SCREENSHOTS!

A new Resident Evil game has been announced for this winter, Operation Raccoon City! Fans of old school RE games might see this game as a mixed blessing however. It promises the return of of fan favorites such as Umbrella, Zombies, and Hunters. The problem arises with the developer, Slant Six Games, who are best known for the mediocre Socom: Confrontation. Fans should stay hopeful though, because at least Capcom is acknowledging old school RE fans!

Batman Arkham City Trailer

The first one was great and the second one, Batman: Arkham City, also this great. In this one we have new villains, Two-face, Mr. Freezes,Hugo Strange, and there are many others. Some villains are also returning, like Joker and Harley Quinn, and IGN thinks that Black Mask, is in this trailer, I don't know but it looks like him. The gameplay remains mostly the same from the first one, but this time it's open world. Most if not all of the voice cast is returning.

Dragon Age 2 TV Commercial - Accolade Version

Bioware is known for their amazing RPGs, and one of their biggest and best comes out this upcoming tuesday. Dragon Age 2 will have tell the epic story of the Champion and his or her rise to fame and power in the free marches north of ferelden. Bioware has tweaked this installement in the series to have more fast paced and exciting combat, and a dialogue system more akin to Mass Effect. Your character will even have a voice now!

Battlefield 3: Official Fault Line Gameplay Trailer

Heres some of the first footage from EAs newest entry in the famed Battlefield series, and it does not disappoint. Using the Frostbite engine that the series has come to be known for, new tweaks and enhancements will push your PC to new graphical limits. Make no mistake, this is no Battlefield Bad Company, this is a true battlefield game so expect tanks everywhere, the triumphant return of jets, and up to 64 players per server.

Battlefield 3 drops this fall, be sure to check it out if you are even a slight fan of the series.

Dissidia Final Fantasy 012 Video Preview

This game looks great, I liked the first one, but with any good fighting game, it's the characters that make it what it is, they are add six new characters for this game Kain from IV, Lightning from XIII, Tifa from VII, Vaan from XII, Laguna from VIII, Yuna from X. Some I like but others I don't, but I understand why all of they characters in this game. This is a PlayStation portable exclusive, and it will be coming to the states on March, 22, 2011.

Elder Scrolls V Skyrim: Official Gameplay Trailer

Fans of the TES have been waiting anxiously for years for this game, and finally their wait is almost over. Skyrim is the sequel to 2005s Oblivion and promises to wow us in ways that many felt were lacking in the previous entry in the series, better character customization, voice acting and motion captured actors promise to make this a role playing game that no fan of open ended games should do without.


This fall will be one of the best in recent years for gamers!
